so, i've learnt that the best blogs on the web are ones that fulfill a particular function, i.e. swedesplease (there IS a god - craig bonnell, please step forward), and this will definitely not be one of them. mostly because i like too much stuff to devote my life to one thing... no, that's a lie. mostly because i don't know enough about one thing so have to fill my life with other stuff... that doesn't seem quite right either. fine, so it's mostly because i like too much stuff to know enough about one particular thing. does that sound better?
i'm just going to post all the things that i like and do and make, and see whether i'm pleased with the end result.
so, to begin with, my favourite thing at the moment is this:
aye, a wonderful base layer from howies® that keeps me toasty when i'm oot running and biking, but stops me from being a sweatmonster when i have to face civilisation at the end of it. awesome stuff! and it gets better... not only do i not sweat and stink like a swampdog, but also this shit never gets smelly. believe me! i am a pungent femme, but this really does make me seem cleaner than most normal people. it's a devil of an achievement, i have to say.
oh, and they've got a sale on at the moment so the men's base layer is going cheep cheep. unfortunately, we women will just have to stink it out for the time being...
so, that's product placement and gushing dispensed with for now. on another note, i rediscovered last.fm this week and am hooked once again. either it's me new mac, or it's a new last.fm applet, but the radio-gizmo works an absolute treat! so much better than i remember from 6 months ago. hooray for streaming things you love!
